Above: Delivering two ex-Southern Region ‘TC’ carriages from Meldon Quarry (near Exeter) to Bellingham Heritage Centre (north of Newcastle). Upon delivery at Bellingham, the coaches were ‘tipped’ onto a temporary track panel (installed by Moveright) which then allowed the coaches to be jacked laterally into position utilising our MFD lifting gear.

Both these episodes of Channel 5’s Monster Moves which were broadcast in 2009 and 2011 respectively involved a huge amount of planning on the part of Moveright International. Although the company doesn’t feature in the actual video’s, a large amount of time and effort by Moveright staff ensured the successful repatriation of these two locomotives.
